We took a gamble staying here with it being a new hotel and there being no reviews but it absolutely paid off!! We had a wonderful stay here! Exquisitely beautiful and elegant hotel in a prime location in central Kyoto next to the local market and shops. 2 metro stops away from Kyoto station where you can catch the Shinkansen to Tokyo or Osaka. The staff are incredibly lovely, they are the most polite people and want to help with everything. They safely stored our bags before and after our stay so we could maximise exploring Kyoto. Whilst it’s slightly out of town centre, it is within walking distance of a number of attractions, and close to the subway. We used the subway a lot, and got the direct Hankyu line to Osaka an couple of times. Enjoyed the breakfast, and the complementary food etc in the lounge. I cam highly recommend it

A great stay. Room was lovely and spacious. Great view. Breakfast was delicious. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. Rooftop has free snacks and drinks with a fire pit. Had such a lovely time

A serene, modern, and stylish place with a wonderfully cosy atmosphere. Located in a quiet area of the city yet still easily accessible to all the main attractions. The beautiful garden and surrounding grounds are perfect for peaceful morning walks, and the elegant breakfast was a lovely way to start the day. I would definitely recommend it.

I read the reviews about the location and there isn’t anything that isn’t walkabale to. They have a bus to drops you off in the station location was great. Beautiful rooms but I think some of the stuff is a bit outdated for a 5 star. Nonetheless amazing staff and experience

Clean hotel in a great location.

Check in & out was so quick & easy, especially checking out - you just put your key card into a machine & you’re done. The hotel is in a great area as indicated by the ‘What did you like?’ section above. The rooms were always cleaned & restocked with bottled water, towels, etc.

Amazing hotel. It has a really central location with so much within a few minutes walk. The hotel is quiet and comfortable with really friendly staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to book for my next trip to Kyoto

The hotel is fairly new. It is centrally located within the district we stayed in about 4 km from Kyoto Station. The hotel staff were very helpful when we had to change our travel plans due to the cyclone that hit Tokyo and managed to find us alternative rooms in the hotel. Excellent service.

Lovely clean quiet gem of a place. Very intimate away of the crowds. Room and bathroom well designed to maximise the space. So glad we chose to stay. Staff were wonderful too.
