"The hotel property is nice and has a lot of potential. The staff were polite and check-in was easy. We booked an upgraded room mainly for the large patio, which looked great in the pictures and seemed like a perfect place to relax during our two-week stay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. The room had dust and small gravel in several places, and the patio cushions were not clean. We even had to remove the cushions and sit on towels because of dark spots that looked like mold, so we did not enjoy the patio as we had planned. Overall, the hotel could be very good, but housekeeping needs improvement. I would rate the stay 4/5 overall, but cleanliness closer to 2.5/5. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. "The room had everything we needed and was a 5 minute (or less) walk to a nice, calm beach. There is easy access driving to surfside and south beach, and you could even walk if you don’t mind a long walk. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed. We would stay again."
