"I was a little upset when I checked in. Due to many flight delays, cancellations and spending the night in an airport - I was exhausted and couldn’t wait to check in. We had booked a room and when we found out we wouldn’t make it the first night due to a flight cancelation I immediately called the property. I was told that they would put a note on my reservation so I would not show up as a no show and have my reservation canceled. I was told when we arrived the next day we could check in right away as our room was technically already reserved and held. When we arrived the next day the front desk could not find my reservation, and it was ultimately determined that it had been canceled the night before because we had not arrived on time. When I told the front desk worker that I had spoke to someone and told them we would not make it due to a flight cancelation and there was a note on my account she informed me there was not. She immediately tried to make it right! She reinstated our reservation, found us one of the very few rooms that were open and ready and expedited it!
The property was very clean. The beach access with chairs and umbrellas was so convenient, well managed and clean! The pool area was very clean and the men working the towel stand were quick to help people struggling to open umbrellas or clean up after the wandering iguanas! Beds clean and comfy. Rooms cleaned daily. Quiet at night! Close to many restaurants! Great place to stay! "

Many people in their reviews, knocked the hote and staff, but I found that the staff was attentive, and willing to accommodate requests even at midnight without any pushback. My room was clean, neat, and in the best condition possible taking into account that the property overall is a dated building. I would stay here again."
