The property was cleaned and well staffed however you can tell the furniture and floors have been used a lot. There needs to be a renovation. Restaurants were amazing and pool side service.
to be honest, the lady that checked us in confused us a lot, but the property was nice. However, the café in the hotel was horrible. The food tasted disgusting but everything else was really nice especially the club.
Overall, the hotel is state of the art. There are a lot of amenities which I unfortunately didn’t get to use because I only came for the WC game but overall my experience was pleasant my only qualm was the unavailability to change certain items for ordering room service for breakfast.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
The check-in process was truly amazing. He really made me feel like a VIP. I enjoyed the property however I don’t understand charging a resort fee when you can not use it to its fullest. One of the best things about going to Miami is being on the beach and going in the water which we were not able to do on this vacation since the water was disgusting and not safe to go into.
There was a cigarette in an ash tray on our balcony. Other than that, seemed clean, everything was great. Food was fantastic. Some things were egregiously expensive like 30 bucks for 2 water bottles. Great hotel, would stay there again.
Beach view was great! Staff was great in Tresor! I hated elevator in Tresor. It took forever to get to our floor and only worked on one side of the elevators! Hopefully, if we return this problem will be resolved!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The property is very big with multiple hotels, bars, restaurants, pools etc. Well maintained, clean and tight. The rooms are clean, equipped with all you need except a coffee maker. You do have a private bar however you have to pay for anything, including water ( 1L # 12 USD + tax). On the pools are chairs but not all have umbrellas and you must have an umbrella, being very hot. The hotels offers a few restaurants which you have book at least a day in advance. Food OK but not much variety. The beach is well organized, complimentary chairs and towels but you do have to pay for umbrella. They are serving food and drinks on the beach but you pay for. Be aware that th tip is 20% and is included in every bill. Looking to the big picture, you pay only for a hotel room. Nothing else is included. To commute in the city or anywhere else for a relatively short distance, use UBER. Very convenient and fast.
I came for a work event. Fun to stay here with the Rat Pack history, but it is overpriced and I wouldn't choose to stay again - the room is tidy and beds are comfortable - but that's about it.
Here are my complaints: No in-room coffee or complimentary bottled water was the worst (I am spoiled by Hiltons). Kids everywhere in the pool, loud, could not relax... and it closes before the sun even starts to set - so not a chance at getting any pool time. Sadly, the beach was completely stacked with seaweed, so the beach was out (not the hotel's fault, I know). Be prepared for $32 margaritas at the pool. Not exaggerating.
Positives: I only ate at the sports bar restaurant, Arkadia Grill. The steak and the burger were pretty good, and price is on par for most hotels (all gratuities are included, so hopefully you get excellent service). I was there during World Cup, so the vibe was fun. It was very easy to get around the footprint of their property. It was an easy walk to the beach and included a nice biking and jogging trail that followed the beach.
For the extremely high price of staying here, I would say they need to up their game. We were given a free upgrade to balcony room, which I thought was great, until I got to the room. Room itself was a little worn, but worse than that, it was directly above the convention center A/C fans. Probably 8 of them 20 feet across. Couldn't hardly hear the tv over the fan noise with doors closed. Balcony was useless. Lines at check in were extremely slow, not enough help there. Overall pool area was very nice as well as the beach. Staff was friendly everywhere we went other than valet. Drinks were good at the main bar (very pricey, round of 4 approx $112.00. Just be prepared. And finally the valet parking was $80+ for one night, and it took them 45 minutes to get the vehicle. So glad I checked this off my bucket list, but wouldn't stay here again simply as the costs don't match the level of service we received.
I recently stayed at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, and while I enjoyed parts of my stay, I left feeling that it didn't live up to the luxury resort experience I expected for the price.
The staff throughout the property were friendly, welcoming, and professional, and my room was clean and comfortable. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and easily one of the highlights of my stay. The only downside was the loud HVAC system, which was noticeable, especially at night.
The pools were just okay. One of them had quite a bit of debris from the surrounding palm trees and didn't feel as clean as I expected. Pool service started off well, but after placing an order, it often felt like you were forgotten unless you kept an open tab.
I was also surprised that there wasn't a swim up bar, which I expected from a resort of this caliber. The drinks were decent but nothing memorable, especially considering the prices.
Everything at the resort was expensive, but unfortunately, the quality didn't always match the cost. Valet parking was another disappointment. It was very expensive, and retrieving the car often took much longer than expected.
The room itself was nice, but I was disappointed that the refrigerator couldn't be used to keep personal drinks or snacks cold, and there wasn't a microwave available. Those are conveniences I would expect at this price point.
Overall, the Fontainebleau is a beautiful property with great staff and amazing views, but if you're looking for a true
Great location. Once when you walk in they greet you nice. The smell of the property is great. Glad to see renovated rooms and beds. Very clean property and many pools to choose from. It would be good to also include umbrellas with chairs instead of selling for an additional fee. The daily resort fee is already too high and is being taken from customers. Not necessary to charge extra more just for beach umbrella. Overall great experience.
