Really nice hotel with a pleasant roof terrace and great staff; the free coffee all day was a nice touch as were the free croissants first thing. Lots of interesting food options nearby - iconic dining at: The Roxy; Bubby’s and Katz Diner were all only a short walk away. There are good transport connections via the nearby subway station and it sits in a very friendly and safe neighbourhood on the border between Chinatown and Little Italy.

We had some initial mishaps with the booking of our room (make sure you request a room on the higher floor levels so that you get a view - we had a view of the car park at first which we were disappointed with, especially as we had paid more for a bath next to the window to celebrate my 30th birthday). Lovely small boutique hotel in a great location downtown away from the main hustle and bustle. Staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were clean and quiet with a great shower and complimentary toiletries. Tea and coffee facilities in the lounge 24/7 plus a complimentary breakfast of pastries and orange juice which was a welcome surprise. It is a little dated and could perhaps do with some modern decoration but this didn't really distract from a great stay.

The air conditioning could have had a better temperature control but generally great, especially with laundry facilities available in the room. The room in parts were dark but the staff brought a lamp and generally responsive. It’s on the expensive side but great place to stay if you can splash out.
