Blissville might not have many top sights, but MoMA PS1 and Court House Square are two attractions nearby that you can check out.

When in Dutch Kills and the surrounding area, you'll want to check out sights like 5th Avenue or Museum of the Moving Image and hop on the metro to see more of the city at 21 St. - Queensbridge Station or Queensboro Plaza Station.

Soda was $12/bottle - ice was brought to our room in a ziplock plastic bag- pretty incongruous

Only issue I had was the main elevator was extremely slow, also my room was just outside the elevator and staircase- room could use a little more sound proofing. Staff were amazing, hotel was clean and quiet.

V clean and convenient, spacious property. The room does feel a bit barren, would be nice if there was a sofa like in the photos

Good choice. We came there much much much earlier before check-in and since they had the room already available, they checked us in few hours ahead of time. I i plannto return

Great alternative to staying in Manhattan
We love New York....2nd visit here. Buy a 7 day transport card. We were only here for 4 days and it still saved us money.....and it saves the hassle of finding places to buy a ticket. Go for brunch - great NY experience.
Queens is a multi cultural place, very safe, great views, excellent transport system, less expensive than manhattan island. Long Island City has a number of places to eat out around the place. Very nice place for couples and families
