"Nicely situated on the Beach front. Large bathroom. Main thing that brings the rating down is the drilling that goes on 11 hours a day on the site right next to our balcony. It is relentless and impossible to relax as well as have the balcony covered in building dust all of the time. If you are looking for a relaxed break this site won’t be it for some time to come as they’ve only just started on the foundations unfortunately. Happy hour is also disappointing as it only applies in the inside bar and for drinks consumed there and nowhere else in the hotel including your room as they then charge full price so as no one seems to sit indoors isn’t really a useful perk as it’s very restrictive."

"This is the 5th time we are staying at the hotel. Hotel needs to be remodels. Rooms have smell carpets are old. Everything needs to be updated. Even service this time wasn’t great."

"I’ve stayed here multiple times while traveling for work and this hotel consistently hits the mark. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the breakfast is in the top 10% of hotel breakfasts."

"We had a nice stay overall. The rooms are soundproof to outside noise (not inside as we discovered in the AM with the room next to us.) We had a nice corner room with windows looking across the street to the ocean through the buildings across the way. Our bartender was top notch! He made our drinks, brought our food, and was so incredibly personable. But the bed… the comforter was yellowed and had a stain like lipstick on it, but the worst part was the pillows. The pillows are like thinly stuffed down. My husband and I used two and sunk right to the mattress. He said he was up three times during the evening because he couldn’t sleep on flat pillows. I slept on and off because it felt like my head was on the mattress. I’d likely never stay again because of this, or I’d have to travel with one of my own. You need a good night’s sleep. Neither of us got that. BYOP. "

"The listing advertised a high-rise, ocean-facing luxury room in a 41-floor building. Instead, I was placed on the 5th floor—barely above a neighboring building that significantly blocked the ocean view. This was extremely disappointing and not what was represented. I asked the front desk if I could move to a higher floor (preferably 20 or above), even offering to pay an upgrade fee. I was told, in a dismissive tone, that nothing could be done. Although they admitted there were available rooms, they said that because I booked through Expedia, I would have to pay for an entirely new reservation—and that the amount I had already paid would be forfeited. Additionally, the front desk incorrectly told me that I had only booked a “side ocean view,” not an oceanfront room. When I got to the room, it was clear that I had in fact booked oceanfront, and that the front desk was mistaken. This added unnecessary frustration and confusion. Staff should be familiar with their room layouts—especially when, on the 5th floor, all rooms are front ocean-facing. Overall, I was very disappointed with both the experience and the attitude of the front desk staff. I used to enjoy staying at this hotel, but due to the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and unwillingness to assist, I will not be returning."

"The kitchen was well stocked. Some staff were very friendly and others don’t know how to smile. The upper pool area was clean and inviting. All fees should be upfront when purchasing a room. If purchasing a 3 bedroom call and confirm as one of my rooms ended up being a 2 bedroom and should have been a 3 bedroom. I also feel you should get 2 beach chairs per bedroom reserved. "
