Brilliant stay, the room was clean, tidy and provided with a coffee machine, safe and all the bits you could want for a comfortable stay. The shower was amazing. The balcony and view was a great addition, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back to stay again

Even though I only stayed three nights here, I had the best time. There is no doubt that it was the best part of my visit here, and the next time I'm in California I definitely won't stay anywhere else. It's a beautiful and peaceful area that will make you feel right at home. The hosts, TJ and Jorie, were exceptionally kind and accommodating. No other hosts could have been better. Great hotel close to the beach

Great location for the beach and pier and downtown Santa Monica. The beach package of towels, boogie boards, chairs and umbrella was great, we had so much fun playing in the waves. Pool was lovely, only gripe was that the lounge chairs are situated too close the the pool, which meant we got a lot of side eye and tutting when the kids splashed whilst swimming. We spent 5 nights at the hotel, which lived up to expectation. The room was beautifully decorated with a comfortable four poster bed. We could not fault the staff who were welcoming & attentive. The bar & restaurants were excellent, the food was of a high quality and live music was played most nights of our stay. Great location for exploring Santa Monica beach, staff very friendly and helpful

Great hotel with large suites. Only drawback is poor descriptions of suite types. We would have liked a room with a view, but were at the back of the hotel and the small balcony was facing the apartment building behind. Its a converted apartment building with room access from an open courtyard with central pool. As all rooms are slightly different, they don't all have desks, so I ended up working on laptop balanced on a pile of books because no rooms with desks available. Annoying for a business...

Very unusual place to stay which I would highly recommend. Wonderful location with amazing scenery. Good sat nav will take you to the door. Great breakfast, nice staff!

Wonderful property on Carbon Beach

Yes my beech view was excellent. The bar and restaurant was good, not excellent as the service provided could have been more responsive.
