"Room had lamp shade missing. Everyday after I left the room, I could not access my room. Door card has to be reactivated everyday when I returned from an outing. Apparently they do that for "your protection". I am not sure how deactivating key card protects me. No one can get into my room unless they had a key card. I was never told at check-in that this was their procedure for rooms there. A guest should not have to go to the front desk to get back in their room every time they leave."

"The neighborhood around the hotel was a bit rough but the hotel itself was nice, comfortable, and secure. Their (included) daily breakfast buffet was cooked up fresh with several tasty options. The whole staff from desk to cleaning crew were all nice. The room cleaning staff made up our rooms so crisply each morning. It is just a few-minute walk from a main subway line.
