"The staff is kind and welcoming and truly the gem of the business. The property is in a rough area and the planes sound like they are landing on the hotel. I counted at about 90 to 150 seconds between planes for most of the evening. The pictures make it look better than it is. It is truly a place just to stay for flying out. However, beds were comfortable and it is truly only minutes from the terminal."

"great property near airport. Close to Marriott which has a good restaurant. Road noise a little loud cause it is near airport and freeway. Great shuttle service and drivers very nice. Great staff that communicate with you through your entire stay."

"Nothing unique. The woman working morning shift.....I felt she was rude to customers that had an issue with their rooms. Not only rude but called the police on 2 different customers instead of trying to resolve their issues professionally. I don't think she should have any dealing with public. The night shift male was respectful, attentive and professional. My issue was the room I stayed in ....the door needs to be fixed....you have to use your shoulder to push door open and slam shut. Cleaning entered my room when I was absent and didn't shut my door back. When I arrived back to my room...door not properly closed. I explained to both night and morning front desk clerks that I do not want no one in my room for the rest of my stay. 30 mins later...cleaning staff attempted to enter my room. I feel as though the woman clerk at front desk needs to be reassigned a different position than dealing with public. Room doors needs to be fixed. Other than those two issues....my stay was okay. Again I'm very dissatisfied with your morning clerk. SHE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. She needs to dealt with IMMEDIATELY"

"I was tricked into staying here. Hotels.com had its rating at 7. The sheets had cigarette burns in them. The pillows had old lipstick stains and other bodily fluids on it. Apparently this hotel is popular with prostitution and people were coming in for short stays all night. Even the lady working the front desk was soliciting. They also put Jfk in the name to trick folks when it's very far from the airport and even the metro entrance to get somewhere is a 38minute walk. The room also did not have a chain for the room. I had to put a chair beneath the handle for added security. The towels given were bare and yellowish. Last the shower area didn't have a shower sheet so water would accumulate on the floor. Honestly it was a terrible experience and I hope you take this review seriously and not stay here. I wish I had known before I spent money here and potentially brought bedbugs back home. What a miserable experience this was."

"We were very impressed with this hotel for its modern look and pleasant atmosphere. The staff were great and accommodating. Though the area has high traffic and congestion, we felt very safe. The hotel is close to Citi Field and major highways. We will be staying here again."
