Little Deli's around the corner. Quiet evenings at least while we were there. Beds were very comfortable.
Our room was beautiful right on the water front desk people very helpful before with a smile location of the property. Excellent the food and waitress below average.
The room was clean the bathroom was clean which are the basics I look for. The customer service was excellent. The elevator was down and Merv was kind enough to carry my luggage up those flights of stairs both ways. It’s rare that you find good customer service in hotels but it was great and the overall experience was great. I would stay here again and it’s close to the subway/train station

The surroundings of hotel needed cleaning.. I would not go out at night as a female in that area too sketchy
Great value clean, comfortable and quiet rooms, close to both JFK airport but within walking diatance of stores, restaurants and the NYC Jamaica/Sutphin/Airtrain subway stop. Receptionist was very friendly and prodessional. Bed linens were clean and comfortable and ahower head was generous. Bath soaps lotions and conditioners were very nice. Uber to JFK airport was $30.
I stayed at the Red Roof Plus Hotel in New York for 2 nights and had a great experience. The staff was very nice and welcoming, which made the stay even better. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York.
We booked this hotel last minute due to an unforeseen layover. The pictures and reviews online gave the impression that it was pretty good for the price. Our experience was anything but. When we arrived, there were 4 guests ahead of us. There was a woman in the lobby, very clearly high on drugs that was accosting everyone waiting for check-in. The front desk worker seemed to know her but only spoke to her twice (in the 20-25 min it took to get us checked in) and it was shocking that the police weren't called. We felt unsafe and uncomfortable and it appeared the others in line did as well. When it finally became our turn to check in, the lady behind the counter was quite curt and not friendly at all. We made it to our room and when we exited the elevator we heard people screaming in one room and a tv blasting in another. We entered our actual room and immediately were debating going back to sleep on the airport floor. The shower had pubic hair in it, the toilet was up and taped together, the floor was not vacuumed and everything looked very unsanitary. The next door guest had their tv up so loud, that we had to put ours on just to try to drown theirs out. We spent the night fully clothed on a travel blanket because we didn't want to touch anything. We checked out at 5am and when we had gone down to the lobby, there were coffee packets all over the floor from the lady on drugs and no one had bothered to pick them up. Any good reviews on this place has to be a BOT.
