Wonderful hotel in a great location. Room was spacious and clean and the staff were lovely. It would benefit from a hotel bar but we very much appreciated the bottle of wine!

Really nice hotel with a pleasant roof terrace and great staff; the free coffee all day was a nice touch as were the free croissants first thing. Lots of interesting food options nearby - iconic dining at: The Roxy; Bubby’s and Katz Diner were all only a short walk away. There are good transport connections via the nearby subway station and it sits in a very friendly and safe neighbourhood on the border between Chinatown and Little Italy.

Fantastic location as the hotel is close to subway station so can easily get anywhere, but it’s in a more peaceful part of town. There are loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops around. Our room (two double beds) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

I've stayed here before. It is very super clean and comfortable. Friendly staff at reception, Quiet location yet very close to two good stations, good for the E train and the No 7 subway train. The breakfasts were good, although cereals poor. (I brought my own). I liked the fact you could make a cup of tea any time. I would definitely recommend this place and intend to stay here again.

Great place for price, booked last minute for 6 nights, stayed in 4 bed room with its own toilet and separate shower room, only 2 stops from Central Park SE corner, Common seating area with projector screen and other with desks and tables where phones/laptops can be charged, bar with hot/cold drinks available all day, common kitchen with all stuff needed, staff very helpfull and friendly, padlock for spacious locker next to bed provided if needed, pizza place few steps away and some cafe's and...

The perfect location for either a Mets game, or catching the US Open. Walking distance to Flushing Meadows. Felt safe in the neighbourhood too.

It was nice and clean and the pillows where amazing for a hotel room. Had one of the best sleeps in a hotel room. Staff were lovely and breakfast was nice. Fresh pancakes made to order. X

Had a great week here at capital hotel, The staffs here are super friendly and helpful. The hotel was always clean. Great atmosphere. Help desk are always here to assist. Everything works, the air con is great, Also cleaners did a good job keeping the room maintained. Great stay.

Clean room, ideal location for my visit.

Was originally sceptical about this hotel given some of the reviews, however was impressed by the price given the easy and quick transport to manhattan so booked it - and i would absolutely book this hotel again. I came with my boyfriend for 4 nights on a christmas trip to New York and this hotel was the perfect base for us. It is less than a 10 minute walk from the subway station and 1 stop on the M or F train to Roosevelt island and just 10 minutes to Times Square - even less to Central Park,...

I went on a holiday solo had a lot of days out and a couple days stayed in the hotel room just relaxing watching TV. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, I would stay here again.

Stones throw from Times Sq so perfect for a four day theatre visit. Had a 44th floor Deluxe King room, facing south, with a partial view of Times Sq. Huge windows made it bright all day, but there are effective blackout blinds at night and there’s virtually no noise.
