"A nice hotel with large spacious rooms. Staff were very attentive and willing to assist. Breakfast was good. We were attending a friends birthday at a local pub, so were really a flying visit- but had everything we needed and was a very comfortable stay."

"Old style boozer with rooms above in a bit of a ram-shackle state. Very basic and in a state of disrepair in parts. Bathroom door only on by one hinge, bathroom with bare plaster board and lots of tools and cleaners trolleys in the hallways and a strange diy metal fire escape. Was unable to re enter the hotel to get something we forgot when we left early one morning. Despite this it was a cheap and cheerful place to stay. "
