Having read mixed reviews I was a little unsure, but the location of the Warren Lodge Hotel is lovely, the building although on the older side, has good sized rooms and is nice and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only negative is the parking, as even with the Anchor and Kings Head next door closed, trying to find parking if you are late back to the hotel is a struggle, and even when arriving early and finding a parking, I then found I was parked in.

The bathroom was clean but the walls in the room were covered with brownish stains. The room will do with thorough cleaning of the walls.

The property is a nice building and looking onto river is a pleasant location. However furnishings and decor rather tired and outdated. Our room was not in the main building which was disappointing. We had to wait 40 mins for an evening meal.

Lovely Thames River View
The Warren Lodge Hotel is one of the few hotels to stay on the Thames River in the area, which was my goal. I had been here before for lunch with friends and it is in a peaceful area with lovely Thames views. Friendly check in and very accommodating woman at front desk & bar. Rooms are a bit tired but clean and very comfy bed & pillows. Stayed in a room on the patio and even on a cool February evening, it was beautiful and peaceful. Woke up to fishermen in the morning.
