"Decor was old fashioned Chinese style. Surrounding area was not attractive. Hotel behind (which we overlooked) was unkempt and, luckily for us, closed. Otherwise I hate to imagine the noise. The bed was comfortable. The receptionist was pleasant. Laundry was a good bonus. Breakfast was a cold, continental one. Adequate for most but I am gluten intolerant ( medically diagnosed) and staff had no idea if any cereal they had was g/free. Did not even stock a loaf of g/f bread. My breakfast was a...

"Room was a little hot and you don’t have control over ac. It was nice to have a kitchen with a good amount of cookware. Nice location, quick walk to the grocery store or food. The pharmacy within walking distance has a 3-day bus/metro pass for $20."

"The hotel had a very bad odder throughout the building, the room had a very strong smell of smoke even though it was a smoke free building. The front desk clerk noted on our file that there was a smell. The room was dirty and the floor was sticky in some areas, we did not take our shoes off until we went to bed. The staff was friendly but we asked to have a wake up call and a cab these were not done and the morning front desk clerk said that there was no note of our request "

We were woken up early by building work every day on week days and the facilities we thought were linked to the hotel did not exist. "The staff is very friendly. There is no lift, but the desk attendant carried my bag up for me. He warned me of the noise from the Tiki Bar, but it wasn't so bad. It didn't keep me up. This place is dated, but they work hard to make the best of what it is. "
