The Maritime is the perfect hotel for seeing the city, its clean, friendly staff and a decent continental breakfast, It is ideally situated for restaurants, coffee shops etc. The High Line and Little Island are close by. Unfortunately it doesnt have its own bar on site which was the only thing i would criticize. After being out all day it would have been nice to chill in a bar onsite rather than have to venture out again. We took advantage of the airport transfer service offered in the expedia...

Great location, staff, rooms 10/10

Ideal location for exploring the city. Hotel had everything we needed. Trip was with adult daughter & the three of us had enough space in the room. I researched a lot of hotels & for the location this made economic sense & had all the facilities we wanted. Didn’t eat or drink there but no need as so many options close by. Close to subway to get around the city & Times Square was 15 min walk away. Could do with some modernising but that’s being picky. Would recommend

My daughter and I had a trip to New York for our big birthdays, hotel was very central close to port authority, walking distance to time square and many other areas. Hotel staff made our visit special for us and are very helpful , friendly , professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would avoid 9th Avenue at night time as it didn’t feel very safe .

Great view, nice accommodating staff, food at restaurant there was nice, staff cleaning and cleanliness of hotel was fantastic and it was a very good experiance to stay at this location.

Great location and very quiet on the 14th floor. My only complaint is no mirror in the room. Only mirror was in the bathroom. I had to blow dry my hair whilst looking into a small vanity mirror propped up. I need a mirror to fix my hair in the morning, so do most ladies I imagine.

Best hotel I have stayed at in New York from the staff to the gym to the small details they really go above and beyond. It’s pricy but you really are getting a luxury modern experience.

The room was brilliant. I stayed as an individual but it would be perfect for a couple. The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast selection was amazing and the staff were super helpful. Would highly recommend.

Great hotel in a great location , rooms very nice , we had one with a kitchen , our room overlooked the empire state building which was a plus. The rooftop terrace had some stunning views of the manhatten sky line especially at night it was truly stunning, only fault I have is the breakfast the first 4 days we couldn't fault it , but the last 3 days of our stay am not sure if they were short of staff , but there was a lack of cutlery and plates/cups and food to replenish was slow,and the coffee...

Well located. Easy to walk to loads of the sights + theres a subway station at the end of the road. Penn station is also about a 10 minutes walk away if you’re coming in on the LIRR from JFK. Great views over the NY cityscape (I was on the 37th floor). Comfy beds. Room had a microwave and mini fridge. Only criticism was my room was quite compact so there was limited space to hang clothes or store my suitcase. Breakfast had lots of choices (inc gluten free bread, bagels and labelled hot...
