"I waited for well over an hour at the airport in the shuttle pickup spot as per the instructions in the email you sent me. No one showed up. The email also stated that the complimentary shuttle would leave every hour on the hour. After I got on the shuttle the next morning to go back to LAX the driver and the manager VERY RUDELY tried to insist that I must pay $10usd despite me telling them to look at my confirmation email. I was so embarrassed."

"After getting rerouted by the airline to LAX, I made a last minute reservation for an overnight stay through Expedia. The airline then notified me that they would provide a hotel voucher at a different hotel. I tried contacting Hyatt Place within an hour, no one answered after several tries. Finally, they answered and said I had to contact Expedia. I did and they had trouble getting through to the hotel as well. Days later, my request to waive the non-refundable cancellation was denied by the hotel, a request originally made within an hour of the reservation. Poor customer service, unreasonable response given the circumstance. I won't be staying at Hyatt in the future."

"Location is great for the airport, restaurants are not easily accessed though. Room was modern, clean and had a great view. My only reason for not rating this 5 stars was my experience ordering room service. The person I spoke with was brisk, unhelpful and seemed bothered by my call to order food for the night. I would definitely stay here again all things considered."

"Looking a little run down with peeling paint and fraying carpets. Doors have a lot of gapping. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good location. "

"Nice friendly staff, enjoyed the pastries and fancy coffee machine. The location is so convenient: can walk to Warner Brothers Studios and short drive to Getty Center, Universal Studios Hollywood and Santa Monica beach. Pool was nice, I did not have problems parking at the hotel during the week, but might need to park on street when hotel is full on weekends. Free HBO. Has a classic retro vibe, comfy beds. Enjoyed 3 days here. Again, staff were so nice and helpful."
