We arrived after the published 3pm check in time only to be told that due to a shortage of staff the room wasn't ready but we were given a couple of free drinks vouchers that we used in the bar on the top floor which was a nice gesture. When we did eventually check-in we were told the internet wasn't working which was disappointing. The room itself was nice BUT... the air-con/heating system didn't work and the shower was luke warm and you had to have it on the hand-held head which was positioned waist high on the wall as the rainfall shower was a dribble at best and was colder. Sadly we only found this out on the Sat morning and we were only staying the one night so pointless complaining. Also the pillows were rock-hard! Would have been nice like some other hotels to either give you a choice or have different ones in the room. Location wise the hotel was perfect for visiting the Utilita Arena which is why we were there, plus the surrounding area was lovely and plenty of bars and restaurants.
