The hotel has a parking lot, which is very helpful. The area is very quiet. Stresa is about three kilometers away for a boat ride, a stroll, and numerous restaurants. Ideal place to visit the lake."

"I would recommend this place to a friend going to Stresa. A comfortable apartment, well located and relatively reasonable price. One important point is that the checkin is at Hotel Meeting one block down the street. If one does not know this one would have trouble. Expedia should do a better job of making this clear and I think Villa Maurice or Hotel Meeting should send an email explaining this to everyone who makes a reservation. That is my only criticism."

"Travelling from Milan Malpensa airport by train to Baveno it couldn’t have been easier to get to Hotel Elvezia, just a five minute walk away. A friendly welcome and drop off of our bags in our lovely, clean room and it was off to get our bearings in Baveno. Contrary to what we expected and what was mentioned, there was no free wifi (there was no wifi at all!), the parking was 1.3 km away and this was not a hotel but a series of appartements. The one we got was not the one we rented! And at the end, it was extremely overpriced for what we got. To be avoided!"
