Wonderful stay here for 4 nights with husband and daughter. We had a ‘two doubles’ room, which had lovely comfortable beds and little kitchenette with full size fridge. We enjoyed a lovely complimentary breakfast each morning with fruit, pastries, bagels, yogurt and granola. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. A special mention goes to James, the manager, who was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel is also in a great location for Times Square, making it easy to explore the city and all the main attractions. If I wrote about just how good this hotel is I'd need a lot more characters and you'd think they were paying me. I've stayed in many hotels, a considerable number having more stars than the Luma, but never have I experienced somewhere I cannot fault in any respect. The location is as safe as it gets,easy walking distance from Penn Station if you come in by LIRR/Airtrain from JFK(30 mins hassle free way to get into Manhattan) and the subway is 50 yards from the front door. We arrived a little after 3pm, and had a lovely greeting from staff, but our room wasn’t ready so we had to wait. We booked and paid through Expedia… an Empire via room with living space. Please note that the hotel does not offer this type of room. None of their Empire View rooms have the separate living room area.
