Very nice hotel. I loved the history of the Opera House Hotel. My room was large and nicely decorated. The television was not working correctly. Being handy I didnt call the front desk. I fixed it myself by resetting the cable box. I went to get a cup of hot water and the water looked like diluted milk in the clear cup. I let the water run for a bit and tried it again. Same result. I was not going to drink that!! About 1 am a group on the same floor as me were so loud, it woke me up. I heard someone trying to enter my room for about 3 minutes. After 15 minutes they went to their rooms and it got quiet. I fell asleep and woke up 30 minutes later when another group came to the floor I was on. Loud and disruptive. When they went to their rooms a young child was screaming and crying. UGH! About 2:30 am I fell back asleep and woke at 6am. I showered, got dressed, and went to the desk to notify them about the water situation and the disturbances. I was told , ok we will look into the water. Sorry. When I checked out I was asked how my stay was by different desk staff. I told my tales of woe and was told , that is how the water is here in the city and it is perfectly safe. WHAT ????? I brushed my teeth with bottled water. I was not happy with the answer I got. Would I stay here again? No, I would look for someplace else. I know the people of the hotel are not responsible for the disruptive guests, but the milky water out of the bathroom sink? Yes, they are responsible for that.
