"The hotel is large, modern, and has a great breakfast buffet for a reasonable fee. We arrived early and the staff helped us store our larger luggage until the 2pm check in so that we could do some sight-seeing. The rooms are average sized for London but do not have air conditioning which meant that we kept our window open most days. All in all, a good hotel in the heart of the city. "

"Wasn’t expecting much but for one night it was perfect and all we needed. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Even let us order a Deliveroo to reception in the early hours of the morning! The room was basic but all we needed. Hotel was very clean and room too. Three single beds in one room was exactly what we needed. The water was hot which was great! The doors, decor and carpet were dated but a very clean and tidy hotel. Shop in the hotel ridiculously expensive!! Only let down was the sink in...

"Great location in the heart of London. Excellent access to the British Museum, transportation, other attractions. The hotel is a bit dated but a renovation is underway. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable and very good with suggestions for activities and restaurants. "

"I had an incredible sleep, a really comfy bed, and so dark and peaceful. The staff are great and the rooms are really cool. The one lift is an issue as you can wait to get into a very crowded lift, and every thing costs more money ( leaving bags etc) also the rooms don’t have wardrobes so not ideal for a long stay, but well worth a night or two "

"We booked this hotel because it was easily acessible from inner London as my family from France was coming for our wedding. They had enough rooms for all 17 of us and three of these were next to each other. The double rooms were not very spacious, but comfortable and very clean. The support from the hotel staff was amazing helping us book cabs to get to our venue and recommending places to eat nearby. "

"This is the third or fourth time's we have stayed in the Cartwright gardens flats. Super convenient, nice cafes and pubs nearby. Unbelievably quiet given that two blocks away is Euston Road with buses, trucks, ect. Absolutely our first choice for places to stay in London "

"Easy check in at noon as i came straight from redeye arrival at heathrow. Walked from the Tube stop. Good indian restaurant bar on premises. Only letdown was that i couldnt watch north american sports in the bar. No reception and too much time change. Double bed was fine. Washroom was small but it worked ok"

"The bathroom needs some consideration towards elderly people . I was unable to negotiate the bath due to a fixed shower door and no grab rails on the wall. My husband had difficulty with the shower and it did not run as a bath The staff were very friendly and the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast good "
