The hotel was well situated, the room was nice and comfortable. It was rather warm, it looked over the back of the hotel, with the window open the sound of the fans was loud and you could smell the cooking.

An excellent budget hotel, clean and tidy rooms. Comprehensive full breakfast with prompt service. Only issue, the room was very warm during the night. A fan had been provided and had to be used all night. This however would noot stop us using the Tavistock Hotel again.

Not right in the heart of London city center but very close to an underground stop and is walkable to many pubs and restaurants, so you get the best of everything! Clean hotel, accommodating staff, and safe area.

Perfect location, but very noisy area and building itself. Sound travels all around the floor freely, the street noise and syrens kept us awake all night.

Great location opposite the square, close to Russel Square and Euston. Good facilities and service for the price. Only issue was the lack of air conditioning and the room being to hot, however a fan is provided. Good value for money, would stay here again!

An old Victorian building beautiful but the rooms are very small and the bathrooms a bit cramped put for the area this is to be expected in a similar vein no AC but hardly any of the buildings in the area have AC. The problems have been modernized but there was very little room to work on my computer at the desk that was also cramped

Stayed here 10 years ago and was perfect; new floor this time (2) and the room was terribly small… toilet sep from bath and door hit the commode as it opens… anyone not “fit” or larger will not be able to use the facilities on this floor. The “Wolfe and Whistle” pub attached to the lobby is awesome! Great food and service!!!
