Staff were very accommodating, room was very clean and smelt nice too! Bathroom was spotless and there was enough towels for the whole party. Couldn't fault the metropole. Good choice in my opinion for a short stay in London. Thumbs up.

Excellent hotel in great location. Staff could not be more helpful or friendlier

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood a short distance from a street containing groceries stores, restaurants, pubs and underground and bus transportation. Our room was designed for maximum utilization of space, clean (daily serviced) and very comfortable. The staff was helpful and pleasant during our 10 day stay. We highly recommend this hotel for those seeking reasonable accommodations during their visit of London’s historical and entertainment sights. FWS

Check in and check out were both quick, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and I will definitely stay here when I visit Manchester in the future. Can't think of a negative thing to say about this hotel, it's excellent all round.

The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The rooms have everything you might need to make your stay comfortable. Both indoor and outdoor space make this hotel worth a visit. Set in a quieter location the only problem I found was the Cocktail Bar next door is really very loud at night and spoils the atmosphere.

Great location, a short walk from the train station & shopping area.
