"The room was very comfortable and clean and my treatments at the spa were fabulous. Was disappointed in the initial service at reception and spa, however when we spoke with Caolan on reception on Saturday evening he was very understanding and tried to satisfy our upset. My issues were that on booking my treatments, we received confirmation but were not made aware that the spa was not included, otherwise we would have booked. When we got there, the receptionist and spa receptionist was quite abrupt. In addition we had to wait until 4pm for room to be serviced, which I had to chase numerous times. Eslam and Caolan made up for poor service received up until that point, as Caolan was straight onto this."

"Good internet and absolutely stunning building with lots of interesting nooks and crannies. Taken over recently by The Fat badger company the downstairs public rooms are decorated in a Gothic style with dark colours and hundreds of pictures, endless antique goth memorabilia and dramatic light fittings. Gorgeous. staff were brilliant and breakfast was everything you could possible want. Would highly recommend. Views over the estuary stunning. "

"Nice convenient grand hotel which has seen better days. Quite charming. Breakfast was adequate but of a let down. Location of the hotel is extremely convenient as we were attending a gig at Bradford Live venue. Nearby Oub the Drumwiinder was a blast on Saturday night with heart pouring karaoke. Overall I recommend this hotel is worth the price. Room was nice with large bathroom and bathtub."
