"Very nice couldn’t fault the hotel "

"Great service,staff were very attentive and friendly. Bedroom was very spacious and the molton brown toiletries were an added bonus. The swimming pool was really nice and clean . Food and dinner and breakfast was very good . Drinks were quite expensive but was expected for the hotel. Beautiful grounds. Will be back "

"The Whateley Hotel was extremely likeable, with just a few areas where it needs tidying ie re decoration touch up in bedroom and corridors, however workmen were seen painting etc. The bathroom was great with up to date white goods, broken sink plug chain though let it down, however extremely clean. The double bed was large and very comfortable. Good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Lovely view of garden from room 50, well kept garden. We enjoyed a nice meal in the Berkley Restaurant, friendly attentive staff. A very good buffet breakfast, ample choices, the pastries were very hard though. All staff in the hotel were friendly and accommodating. All in all a pleasant and enjoyable stay, and excellent value for money and would definitely stay again."

"Good easy check-in. Car park easy to find and free at hotel. Room clean and comfortable. Air conditioning a bit noisy for my liking. Breakfast was available but left too early to try.Easy for theatre and Stratford town centre."

"Great welcome at reception. Accessible room allocated as requested. In my opinion, there is a design flaw in the bathroom, as the 'accessible' toilet is positioned too low to be accessible and is too close to the hand basin. The shower was more of a trickle than a shower, albeit hot, and I've had worse showers, so it's not worth complaining about, just an observation. We ate at the restaurant in the evening - a very pleasant experience with attentive staff. Sadly, the same could not be said about breakfast. A few staff members mingling about, not offering hot beverages. You had to 'flag them down' and wait for hot drinks. I noted several tables waiting, and it wasn't overly busy. Tables weren't wiped down in between customers, cutlery was just rearranged, and the idea of a large jug of milk left on tables for subsequent customers is just not nice and possibly unhygienic. The English breakfast food was hot except for the scrambled egg, which was supplied in such vast quantities that it inevitably became cold quickly. All in all such a shame after a very positive experience the evening before."
