The hotel and our room was clean and well maintained - really lived up to the polo club name. Nice pub on the grounds, the Millstone Hare, where we had a nice meal. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Would definitely stay again."

"Great welcome by the staff member at reception after 11pm. I had run out of phone battery & missed a train from London and was concerned no one would be available to check me in but instead the helpful young man even sorted out a glass of wine & some crisps for me & brought them to me even though the bar was closed. So kind, showed me to my room aswell as I was concerned it might be out of the way and in the basement & was going to upgrade if so. I needn’t have worried, clean and spacious and nicely decorated room, modern bathroom with strong shower & lovely molton brown products. Water in fridge. Air con actually worked and didn’t keep me awake. Only improvement could be nespresso or filter coffee rather than instant sachet."
