"Receptionist checking us in was very pleasant and helpful, room was very clean and a good size , breakfast was very good , all staff were helpful and pleasant , good location, very handy car park , would not hesitate to stay here again "

"The room was a bit tatty, needs updating and decorating, carpet was stained but clean, large comfortable bed and fridge in room, which was useful. The staff were very helpful, showing me to my room and completing the parking online form to register my car for the carpark. Its a pity the new owners no longer allow dogs in the hotel. I would return if they reviewed their policy."

"Unfortunately I didn't realise there would be so many dogs there, more so with owners that we're inconsiderate. We had a dog wailing and barking from 7pm - 8pm, more of an annoyance than anything, but the same dog was then wailing from 7am - 7.45am on Sunday morning, which was completely inconsiderate, I didn't need to be up at 7am. The hotel itself was nice enough but ruined by some of the guests"
