"It was our second time staying here, because it's location is very good if you're attending an event at the resorts world arena or using the train to go into Birmingham, both a short walk. "We were really disappointed on arrival as the hotel was covered in scaffolding and the entrance looked much more like a 1970s multi-storey carpark than a 4* hotel. The stairs (the lift was out of order), reception area and room were very dated. The soundproofing in the bathroom was non-existent (my wife could hear everything next door). Having said that the beds were comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok."

"Booked a business room, did not have a USB connection. Note on bathroom wall stated use shower mat but was not one in room, when i asked at reception they stated you have to ask for one. Toilet paper so thin very cheap."
