Location! Location! Location! The lagoons are right across from main street which is awesome for easy access to the market, liquor store and olympic plaza. As a father of 3 young kids, it's super convenient to be able to walk everywhere and not have to be in and out of the car. The unit is a little older though but not a deal breaker at all as a trade off to location. Great and easy communication with management as well.

This is not a hotel and there is no front desk. Property is dated but reasonably well maintained. Furniture and beds are old. TV is way too small and very cheap. An overall average room for the price. Price is affordable but you get what you pay for. A small investment in a decent sized TV would have made a big difference. Not complaining but nothing special with this property.

Stayed at many of the Lagoons. This one was the worst out of 4 others I have stayed in. No hot tub most do. Also the outdoor deck chairs are gross and extremely weathered. Plumbing in bathrooms is coming out of wall. The lagoons is nice and great location. But this unit should be taken off the market or the cost CONSIDERABLY dropped.

We always aim to be as transparent as possible with respect to our listings and it is apparent that there was a lack of personal touch in your booking process to have been able to assist in finding the perfect accommodations for all of your needs. Well equipped kitchen. Overall clean. One duvet cover had some small blood stains. No elevators from parking garage to units. The loading zone is a little far from the units because there is a pond that you have to walk around. Nearby walking distance to everything even with a baby stroller!

Dear Cathy, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We agree the location is unbeatable and the included parking certainly is a fantastic perk! The property does have an older feel as do many properties in Whistler which we believe adds to the typical Ski Town sought-out charm. Alternatively we do manage an array of beautiful properties throughout Whistler if you are seeking something more modern for your next trip. Please reach out to us when you are planning to visit Whistler next!

location of unit was terrific, place was clean and well stocked with kitchen items. Place was quiet. There was quite a distance between where we checked in and out compared to where the place was, and we were confused at first. I have mobility issues and was not expecting all the stairs--out of the parking area and up to the unit.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am glad that you had a good time during your stay. Sorry about all the stairs. While some Condo apartment buildings will have elevators, Townhome complexes in Whistler typically do not. Having a central check in location is commonplace for all of the various Property Management companies in town, as not all complexes have front desks and it isn’t feasible to staff them all anyway, but I’m glad ours is only a few minutes away. If you’re ever unsure, we recommend please calling us for more information prior to booking, as we’re happy to answer any and all questions.

Very good but expensive.
The stay at this location (the Lagoons) I would rate as very good. The actual apartment/ condo was quite nice ... in that Whistler 90's (almost time for a re-do) kind of way. If you've ever stayed anywhere in Whistler you would know the look. Beige colours, a little dated pine furniture. .... but the place was very clean and tidy, no issues in that regard. It did have 3 floors so it's not a big "one floor" place. But no biggy. The location was good but a bit of a walk up to the main core village and lift chairs .... but a bus route is right outside the door. We walked ... and it's about 10-15 minutes. It is close to the grocery store and liquor store though ... which was good. I didn't realize it when I booked but it came with its own 4-5 person hot tub, a nice gas fireplace and free parking (which can easily be $25-$30 a night extra at other places). I also didn't realize it when I booked but Easter/Passover was a bit earlier this year fell on the 4 days of our trip. Usually we come the following week. So prices (air flight and hotels) were higher than the week after Easter. Or at least seemed that way. I searched hard and this place was our best option when booking 3 weeks before the trip (my bad). Our 4 day stay was right around $2000. We had a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom unit. It slept 5 comfortably and would sleep 6 just as easy. The main floor (kitchen/dinning table/living room isn't huge but it's ok. Which ain't cheap but was quite nice and did do the job. The kicker was ..... when I looked at my VISA bill a few weeks later .... tHe room is billed in US dollars. So the $2000 room bill turned into the $2600 room bill. Ouch, .... but again .... my bad for not reading the fine print. A great trip but if we went the week after I bet we could have trimmed 25-30% minimum off of the whole trip (flights and accomodaion) .... and the restaurants wouldn't have had such long wait lists.

Hi Ivy, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear you were kept up by surrounding room's and that affected your stay. As we have many properties around Whistler it is hard for us to know if other units are causing a disruption. We do take noise complaints very seriously and have a 24-hour desk so we can be contacted at any hour to assist with any complaints, or if you required security to attend. We look forward to hopefully seeing you on your next trip to Whistler! Regards,

My partner and I booked a one bedroom unit for Labour Day weekend. It's by no means fancy, with no room service and housekeeping being an extra charge, but fancy wasn't our goal. Our place of stay was far enough from the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants, yet within walking distance of IGA and the liquor store. We like to cook and were there to relax for our two nights and escape from Vancouver so this was perfect for us! The apartment unit was ground level and had a very well-equipped kitchen (lots of plates and utensils, salt/pepper, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc.), a bathtub with a Jacuzzi, a bedroom with an air conditioner and doors leading to a porch, speakers, and a washer and dryer for longer stays. There was also a communal pool but we didn't use it; it's mainly for kids since it's fairly shallow. The unit was clean except for some dust and a spiderweb or two hidden in some corners, but to us that was minor compared to all the pros. The staff at the front desk, which is about a ten minute walk away, were pleasant and concise. We would definitely stay with Whistler Premier again and would without a doubt recommend them to our friends!

Outskirts of Village North
We booked with Whistler Premier North as there was very little availability for the weekend. I believe this is a property management company that books privately owned units in a rental pool. Therefore, you don't know exactly what you are getting or where until you check in. There are various properties they manage that are all on the outskirts of the popular areas. The unit itself was very spacious but the beds were uncomfortable. My son is a college student living in dorms and never complains about any sleeping accommodations; he said the unit was trash. This is a child who willingly sleeps on a couch or floor cuz he can sleep anywhere. For him to complain about the comfort is really saying something. When we checked in, he had to put a $500 deposit hold on our credit card. I have yet to see how that resolves itself. I did go to the check in location (Blackcomb Lodge) to inquire as to the sensitivity of damage claims as there were numerous wall dings, counter blemishes, broken racks, loose cabinets doors, etc. I took pictures in the event they try to pin any of this preexisting damage on us. I also reported the dripping bathroom faucet and spinning shower control. It was very difficult to figure out how to get hot water as the shower faucet would spin clear around and around. There are posted quiet hours from 10 pm but we had a very loud group going at it Friday night well past 10 pm. They eventually quieted down sometime near 11 pm.

If problems are fixed, this would be fine.
This is a condo unit, not a hotel room. Unfortunately though we hoped for a 1 bedroom, only this studio was available. The murphy bed was damaged and did not open properly. The room is arranged so the couch (a narrow sofa-bed) and other furniture must be crammed into the end of the room by the gas fireplace to open the bed. We were just a couple with a 2nd grade child, but it was still too crowded with the layout - very difficult to walk from kitchen to bathroom with the bed open, and since it was broken, we didn't dare close it. The cleanliness was poor - toenail clippings on the carpet under the furniture we had to move to open the bed. Hotel staff was very kind and reasonably responsive. We have stayed in other units in this condo complex in the past, but not managed by the hotel. If they fix the bed and clean better, this would be a fine place for a flexible couple or a single. IT is just across the street from the free shuttle bus to the ski lifts and about 1 block from the big grocery store in Whistler Village.

Clean hotel near whistler village marketplace
AG-508 was a clean hotel that worked for our needs with a family of 4. Tight living space located across the street from the marketplace. If you don't plan to stay in your hotel for long stretches during the day, it works wonderfully. The worst hassle was the off premise check in and out...3 blocks away. Key card swiping in during early/later hours was spotty. Front desk of the hotel was not very helpful since the room is managed elsewhere...and the staff hours were quite short. Other than that, the lodge functioned as a good home base to sleep, eat a home cooked breakfast and keep our things safe and secure. Bus stop to the village was close by when we didn't want to make the 10 minute "stroll" to the lifts. All in all a pretty good experience for the cost.

Great location...once you can find it!
I am still a little unclear about the situation with this "hotel." Don't get me wrong, once I got there I enjoyed my stay tremendously but the hotel comes up as "Whistler Premier Village North" which is something no one in Whistler has heard of. The address listed is "Various Locations" and I was never clear where I was supposed to check in. I finally stumbled upon the Blackcomb Lodge to simply ask where this Whistler Premier Village North was, jokingly saying, "Which doesn't apparently exist," and the nice girl at the front desk said, "You're right, it doesn't... but you found us!" Uh, what? Again, still not clear what happened there but it's a good idea to call the number listed to confirm where to go as they may have several properties. As an American, my phone wasn't working in Canada but even getting on wifi and calling the number on Skype proved unsuccessful. All that aside, once I got there it was a nice place. Nothing fancy and the walls are thin (and the AC didn't work which probably isn't a problem 99% of the year but I happened to be there during a heat wave) but the rooms are very spacious, there's a full kitchen and the Blackcomb Lodge is right across from the grocery store in the main village so you can eat more cheaply there than in the local restaurants. You can't beat the location if you end up in the main village like I did. Lovely staff. Wifi actually was not great either but I try to disconnect when I'm on vacation anyway. I'd stay there again.

Great condo. quiet location. close to village.
With Whistler Premier i had an all round good experience with my place of stay. Customer service was good. I got to stay in a condo. Which was a nice step from the usual hotel room. So it came with a kitchen, balcony and a washer/ dryer. The condo was a single room. The living room/bedroom was all in one. Had a fold up bed from the wall. Not a big issue just means I had to move a few pieces of furniture around to make room to use bed. For the tv was about 32-36 inch flat screen tv with basic cable. Good enough for me. Had a fair sized bathroom. Bathtub came equipped with water jets. I'm glad my room was a short distance from village. Condo lodge had a 10 pm rule for keeping quiet. So didn't have to deal with howling people thankfully. All round would recommend this place to anyone staying in Whistler!

Nice Hotel In The Heart of Whistler Village
Would stay at Blackcomb Lodge again. Hotel in a great location and clean. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. Short walk to Whistler / Blackcomb gondolas and to shops / restaurants. Mountain is amazing and snowboarding was even better. Room could be in a little better condition - carpeting was ripped and there were gauges in the wood furniture, but otherwise clean. Room had all the amenities necessary to be comfortable (flat screen TV, DVD player, free wi-fi, full kitchen, dishwasher, microwave, dishware, cutlery, pots/pans, etc.). HOWEVER, the room should not matter because when in Whistler, BC, one should never stay in their hotel room, except to sleep.

Booked this condo for a few days in whistler. We wanted to stay in the heart of whistler village and did not mind paying more for a great location. The location on the map displayed on hotels.com shows it being next to crystal lodge near everything. You have to go here to check in and then Once we checked in they informed us our room was in an entirely different location a mile plus away. We stayed in glacier creek which is about the furthest away we could be from the village. Very disappointed with our stay and feel very mislead by hotels.com Parking is additional!!!
