I stayed here after riding my bike in the RSVP event. It was perfect for what I needed. Affordable, centrally located, basic, clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and friendly staff.
Nice hotel, nice staff. Modest setup but clean. Hallway can get a tad noisy occasionally. Don’t book a room next to the toilet or you’ll be woken up by it all morning. Excellent location. The coffee shop across the street is amazing.
I was very pleasantly surprised by how clean and tidy it was! The communal showers and bathrooms were well maintained, and the on-site front desk staff were super helpful. Stephanie helped us check in smoothly and efficiently. I appreciated having a map at the front desk, which helped us plan the rest of our day.
Was actually pleasantly surprised with shared washrooms, single occupancy at a time and showers were clean and maintained. Pretty small rooms, nothing crazy. I booked during a time when there was some sort of night rave/party happening every night outside and there is active nightlife in general around the area so if you like a room that’s quiet at night keep that in mind.
It’s close to all the rad venues for shows in Vancouver. Easy in and out , awesome food all over that area and super easy check in check out. It’s on Granville and can be a bit rough some days but for the most part was really chill. Bathrooms were super clean and staff are rad!

No air conditioning. Rooms were adequate size. Price was a bit high for the standards they had. Was a tidy hotel but not the cleanest.
Located in a great location with food and drink options all aroudn as well as clean and well-maintained facilities. A good place with great value especially if you just need a place to keep your stuff and sleep.
Front desk staff were extremely helpful and provided me directions/tips on things to check out in Vancouver.
The walk up to the room was a bit off putting with the carpet but the room (hard wood floors) and shared bathroom were both very well maintained and clean.
Given Vancouver prices, very affordable and great place to stay!
The Guesthouse is decent. Pros: it’s located downtown, affordable, clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. For example, they let us store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. Cons: bring earplugs or get them from the front desk, because the clubs and bars outside are loud at night; you may have to wait to use the washroom, since they’re shared; we would sometimes smell odours from the washroom entering our apartment when the ventilation was on; the kitchenette is has most of what you need to make simple and healthy breakfasts or lunches, but the hotplates are weak and slow. Overall, we're satisfied and would recommend this place to budget travellers who need a place right in the heart of Vancouver.
I must say I didn't know what type of hotel this was. Bathrooms and showers were shared in the same floor. Hostels (this hotel) it reminds me of dorms for college students. The beds were twin and thin. I find it was budget friendly and very near downtown vancouver. It was an experience for me. The hotel was clean and staff friendly. Worth the experience, and if you do not like, you can always go to another hotel. Will always remember............Its Different.
Polite front desk staff, clean room, clean facility, quiet.

Room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the bathrooms were well maintained. The communal kitchen area was clean, organized, and stocked with a great selection of teas. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe during my stay and appreciated the deadbolt on the door. The location was also excellent and very convenient. The outlet beside my bed for the lamp didn’t work, but I was able to easily move the light to the other side of the room. Just something to note: there is no parking or elevator available.
