It was close to the hospital but the sofa bed was so bad and uncomfortable it should never have happened the mattress was like 20 years old I bet the owner would be complaining too if he had to sleep on it too

Hotel staff were welcoming. The room we originally booked wasn’t available so we were upgraded to the top floor. It was a nice room, but the lights on the balcony at night make it a little hard to enjoy. I think being one or two floors down would be nice. Easy to walk to the beach and catch a passenger ferry to Granville.

The building is under renovation and the elevator wait times were extremely high and no access to use stairs from the 7th floor. Everything else was okay - great location and suite with kitchen and bedroom was great. TV channels limited to basic cable - I really missed being able to watch Me TV.

Room was very beat up and smelled of cigarette smoke one was so bad we requested to be moved, second room was in better(not great condition) but at least didn’t smell of cigarettes.

The Sandman on Davie has been under construction for years and yet it seems like nothing has actually been updated. The room we stayed in was very old and things were falling apart, including the dishwasher. We paid $1000 for two nights parking, which is ridiculously overpriced for the condition of the hotel/rooms.

Good neighborhood. Easily walkable to many areas downtown. Suite was newly renovated and was lovely. Renovations continue and the elevators are slow. Staff was very professional.

Conveniently located with easy access to many touristy things to do. Parking at the hotel was easy and using Uber was convenient for getting around downtown and not having to worry about parking.

Was booked in the wrong suite, the bathroom and kitchen were infested with cockroaches, the basement parking was in poor condition and there was no hot water in the suite. The staff were not surprised.

The night I stayed there there was a fire. The staff did not inform us did not talk to us on what was going on when we were all standing in the middle of the street in the middle of the night. Also, there was no hot water nor any pressure the next morning When it was time to shower. I filed a complaint with the staff front desk. It’s been just about a week and I still haven’t heard anything. They took my email stating somebody would be in contact with me, but nobody has contacted me about a refund.
