This is NOT like a hotel if that's what you're looking for. The rooms are bare. All you get is a bed and a couple of stools. No table or desk. No sink. Even the worst place I ever stayed in had running water in the room. No mini fridge but there is a community kitchen. Unfortunately, some of the guests feel it's appropriate to cook a ten course meal and use up every burner on the two stoves from 4PM to 7PM every night. And there are cockroaches in the kitchen. The shower stalls are micro. Don't expect to be able to turn around and DON'T drop the soap. And when you come out of the shower stall you basically walk right into a toilet cubicle which may or may not be occupied by one of the guests who had the ten course meal the night before. What really upset me though was the fact that "because of covid", management decided to shut half the rooms. To the detriment of the paying guests, they shut all the rooms on the first floor and are making everyone walk all the way to the second floor. I have COPD so it was definitely an issue for me. For your money, the Riviera on Robson is definitely a better budget choice. The one good thing I will say about the Cambie, the staff is awesome. Thanks for helping me get some of my heavier items up to my room and back down, guys and gals.
