Looking at the entrance from the street, you may doubt whether you should choose this place, but it turned out to be perfect for my purposes. I stayed in a room that included a private washroom. I was travelling alone, so safety was a priority. I felt very safe and secure in my room. The room was very clean, and the bed was oh-so-comfortable. My room was also very quiet, especially considering that the guest house is on quite a busy street. The Kaisar Guesthouse is quirky in all the right ways, and I had a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price.

スタッフの方が日本語で対応してくださり、急な延泊にも対応してくださって、ありがたかったです。 トイレとバスルームが共有の狭い部屋と、共有でない広い部屋があります。狭い部屋の方は、隣の音が聞こえましたが、広い部屋は非常に快適でした。 隣にあるベトナム料理のお店も美味しかったです。 路面電車やバスも多く、市内観光には便利な立地です。 ただ、周辺のエリアは夜になるとホームレスが多いので、1人で歩くのは不安です。 気になる方は金額は高いですが、ウォーターフロント周辺の再開発エリアの方がホームレスは少ないです。

目の前が路面電車が止まるので、それに乗って地下鉄まで行って色んなところに行けて便利でした。私は初海外だったので、英語は全然できませんが、優しいお兄さんとお姉さんが対応してくださって安心しました。キッチンも使えたので、夜には友達とカップラーメンを食べたことが思い出です。またいつかトロントに行くことがあれば利用したいです。
