I love the hotel, they have done extensive renovations over the last few years and really modernized their rooms and lobby. All lobby bars, food, and photo opportunities were amazing. It’s an easy walk to many theatres as well as the acc, and rogers centre.

It was a dream come true for me to stay at the Royal York. The staff is great. It's so opulent and when you stay there you feel like you're stepping into a different time, a more gracious time. There's also a nostalgia component for me, 60 years ago, my father took my mother there for dinner on their first date.
