We were exhausted with children and even though there was available rooms the staff would not accommodate an early check in without a fee of $50. After asking again they allowed an hour and a half early check in so we had to sit in the lobby for three hours even though there was a room available. Terribly customer service.

Im a Hilton Honors member and stay hours prior to this 1-night booking at another Doubletree in Windsor, Ontario. Let me just say that the frint entrance is the only thing that is what Hilton/Doubletree stands fo This particular hotel felt more like an inn or a motel. The rooms are run down and needs some upgrading, such as replacing the carpet, the decor the wall paper etc. The shower drainage in room 236 was horrible with standing water, thank goodness I only needed to be there for a few hours or I would have definitely moved to a different hotel such as the Sandman right next to it. For the price this hotel is definitely not worth it, unless upgrades and better cleaning happens.

It's a nice, clean hotel and the staff was very nice and helpful. I didn't like that the curtains don't close all the way and the lights from the streets shone in on us all night. We had to change in the bathroom being on the second floor facing the road. Breakfast should be included but it's not. Parking isn't free either. Price for the room was fair. Beds were super comfy!

Very brief visit. Was upgraded to a suite and was appreciated. Horrible wait of over an hr for the shuttle and it certainly impacted our experience with Hilton. Without the upgrade which may or may not be connected to the shuttle experience I would not stay in a Hilton again.
