"While the room floor and bathroom counter were clean and reeked of bleach upon entering, the positive reviews unfortunately stop there. I don't need a lot of frills but this experience was lacking many essentials (some listed as amenities on their site were missing). If you are on a business trip like we were I don't recommend this spot. -Not a safe neighborhood. Aside from smashed window cars in the parking lot, our Doordash order for amenities the motel lacked was stolen within five minutes of delivery. - Smoke alarm ripped out -Dirty shower floor -No toilet paper holder -No hand towels -Only bar soap, no shampoo or conditioner - No soap dish - No hair dryer - No iron and ironing board - The only linens were the flat and fitted sheets. When we asked for blankets (45-50 degrees at night during this time of year) we were told to walk around the property and find the maid ourselves. - walkways and walls all in need of cleaning The photos are deceptive, I should have read the reviews more carefully before booking. "

"This property is in a very sketchy location. I knew I was getting a 2.5 star hotel, but I did not know that was in a terrible neighborhood boarded by a junkyard with barking guard dogs that barked at you when you walk up the stairs at night I would not stay here again, although I have to say it was very clean. The staff was very nice and reassuring and reassured me that they did not rent to locals so there wouldn’t be any sketchy people on property. It was a continental breakfast. It was fine once again it just wasn’t my cup of tea. "

"The hotel needs updating. The bottom on the bathtub is peeling off. The room was clean. We had a horrible room location, it was next store to the storage area. The staff made noise and was talking really loud at 4am, 5am etc. we lost sleep for two nights. They should not vacate the room next to the storage room. The breakfast they offer is more of a continental breakfast. "

"There was no water in the room. We arrived after midnight and for the $300+ per night I would expect a bottle of water. The hotel room had a view in the parking lot (wall of parking). The room was not updated. No common place to sit inside or outside(very minimal). I would not recommend this hotel. "

"There were cockaroaches everywhere and the room looked dirty and the beds looked very old and dirty. The TV did not work and there was no remote. The phone was not connected to the anything it was a fake phone. There was questionable substances on the couches and in the sink. There was hair all over the shower."

"We stayed for a weekend and really enjoyed the property. The room was very spacious, the area had great restaurants nearby, and the canal made for an excellent running trail. The gym was impressive, and we loved the design of the North Pointe building. Beautiful mountain views and friendly staff made the stay even better"
