"If you want a relaxed break this is a great hotel to book, just come back from a weekend away. What a joy to stay somewhere with such amazing staff. Room was lovely very clean comfy bed. Great breakfast we also dined in the restaurant and bar which was really nice. Had a three hour spa to finish off our stay. Will definitely be back."

"The hotel is in a good location , near the train station and surrounded by great bars and restraunts next to the canal . The hotel is very clean , the rooms are beautiful and the staff are excellent ! The sky bar is a must visit , the views from there are amazing ! I would highly recommend the breakfast 10/10. "A lovely hotel set in beautiful surroundings, offering cosy, comfortable rooms that make for a relaxing stay. There are several pubs nearby, and it’s easy to reach York city centre by bus, or by a scenic 40-minute walk. A great balance of peace and convenience — I’ll definitely be returning."

"My fifth time at the Grantham Arms in 4 years and it's always excellent. Lovely staff, fun, clean rooms and really comfortable beds. What's not to love about a place that maintains such consistently good standards? Breakfast was also beautifully cooked as well."
