"I'll start with the negatives as there aren't many. The lobby was underwhelming and smelt like a sewer. The receptionist, although lovely asked me the same questions twice (every question) because she wasn't taking my answers in. The chocolate hour was also underwhelming with bits of gateaux that my daughter wasn't interested in. Now the positives, the family suite was so big, clean and really impressive. The bed was so comfy and there are robes and slippers and nice tea/coffee. Lots of toiletries including dental kit, comb, cotton pads, shaving kits. The pool is a highlight. It's really big, as is the spa and it wasn't busy at all. It's indoors but the walls are open glass panels on an angle so it's full of fresh air. We asked for an early check in and late check out and that wasn't a problem! The best part was happy hour at the bar which although didn't look great during the day was awesome. The barman made my daughter a great mocktail and the sparkling wine was delicious. The cosmos were the best i've ever had and then dinner at Miss Mi...best meal of our lives. Great kids menu and for a chefs hat restaurant, it was very family friendly. To not have to leave the hotel and have this experience was such a treat. Also the pool is open to 10pm if you want a swim afterwards."
