"Nice and friendly staff throughout the hotel.Clean room which was nicely aired, washroom clean with plenty of hot water. Safe and secure off street parking within the hotel grounds, which was a deciding factor booking this hotel along with the hotels location. Breakfast facilities were clean and well stocked, breakfast service was very well served with friendly and efficient staff. "

"Location is lovely, free parking on site, modern rooms but dusty. Loved they had kids pool, my child enjoyed it. Receptionist on arrival did not inform me of amenities, breakfast times etc. I had to ask. I’ve never been to any hotel that hasn’t done this so very disappointing with a hotel of this level. I should have listened to the reviews about breakfast! Many of us had to keep asking for things such as sausages, bread, juice etc. staying with a child and having to wait 15 mins for food to come out when it’s a buffet breakfast was not ideal. Not to mention milk for the coffee machine was left out in the bottom cabinet not a refrigerator over this hot weekend. There was no children activities as stated on the website so I found myself doing day trips for the time we stayed. For the price paid, I’m very disappointed in the lack of customer service, quality of breakfast, lack of amenities. Would have rather spent the few extra hundred I spent on days out, on a hotel that actually delivered what was on the hotel listing prior to booking including kids activities. If I was only using a hotel as a base to sleep, I would have booked premier inn. Extremely upset with this when I wanted a relaxed stay."

"We managed to park easily and as our room was ready we were allowed to check in at 1 o’clock . Very good position and so easy to get into the town centre ."

"Reception looks modern and clean. And the staff both checking in and out were friendly and welcoming. The room however was dated and the bathroom needs work due to cracked grouting, mould in the shower and just generally tired looking. The bed was very springy but we appreciate they added an extra for my child for the booking. "

"Clean room, easy parking with friendly and professional staff. Warm welcome with a lovely Tavern for a drink, limited menu for dinner but very tasty simple food. The inclusive breakfast buffet was excellent, good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items. We were a couple and enjoyed the knights sword fighting, brilliant performances. For families with young children there was a small park, story telling with Zog and Knights interacting throughout dinner."
