"Staff informative, room excellent and great location."

"Hotel is located adjacent to Holyrood Park which is wonderful for going for a stroll or a hike up Arthur's Seat. Restaurants are a 5-10 minute walk away. There is health club access which is about a 15-20 minute walk away. The restaurant is excellent, we had dinner there once and the food was very good and the service was very friendly and attentive with the staff chatting with diners. The breakfast buffet was very good (cereal, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, croissants, cinnamon rolls, juice, coffee, cheese & salami/ham/etc) as well as hot items that could be ordered included in the breakfast fee. It is about a 30 minute walk to the castle/Royal Mile which was very manageable (or easily accessed with an Uber). The hotel leaves umbrellas in the lobby to borrow which is a nice touch as it rains regularly in Scotland. Rooms are clean and modern. Would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Really pleased with my stay. Upgraded me from single room to double. Staff couldnt have been more helpful. There was a problem with the water supply in room so they moved me to a better room. Comfortable bed, great size room, lovely and quiet, good sleep, breakfast was good. Free parking. Bus stop to get all over Edinburgh and back, right across the road. For what I paid it was excellent. Thank you!"

"Everything was perfect right from check in to checking out. Staff was very helpful, the room was comfortable and close to the city centre. Would definitely stay again!"

"Please do not be put off by the negative reviews. I was worried after checking the reviews after booking the reservation, but the hotel and room were clean. Fresh towels and sheets were provided. There is an electric kettle with supplies for making quick tea. There is good parking at the back, and a bus stop right in front of the hotel. It was not noisy. The staff and other guests were polite. The hotel also has a lovely little dining room. It is clearly stated that towels and bedsheets are replaced every other day, which we were fine with. The check-in and check-out process was quick and hassle-free. Overall it was a good deal. "

"This is an amazing place to stay, had the most warmest greeting to a beautiful house, the room is gorgeous with the most comfortable bed, beautiful en-suite. Perfect location aswell to be close to the city centre with amazing bus route. Will be going back again soon "
