"We came by car and there was ample space to park. We had a warm and friendly check in and the member of staff showed us to our room. The room was clean, well furnished and quite large. We had an excellent Lamb curry and drinks in the Bistro which was very tasty. In the morning our welcome again was friendly and efficient. "We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alexandra. The room size was good, the bathroom was small but still OK. The bed was comfortable enough. The meals were good and plentiful. Breakfast was also good. No issues with parking, plenty around the back, we were lucky enough to get one at the front. We had an issue with a wrong meal bill booked to our room, but Management looked into it and we had no payment to make. The town is just a short walk from the hotel"

"Room was great, Carlotta was very welcoming. Fridge for the use of guests is an excellent idea. Great choice at breakfast. If there's a downside it's that the extractor fan in the en suite ran for a full 1 minutes after the light was put out."

"A really good hotel that had great facilities. Two restaurants with excellent choices. Two indoor pools - one just for hotel guests (the other for guests in the lodges). Several comfy rooms for chilling. Lovely grounds for walks and close enough to walk to Brodick. Everywhere is decorated to a very high standard. The staff are a mix of local and world wide - all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The whole hotel is dog friendly. Highly recommend "
