"The staff were friendly and helpful. I was concerned about my booking as I messaged on Monday asking about late check-in and didn’t get a reply until 8pm on the Friday, the day of my stay. However everything else about this stay was perfect, from the staff greeting me on arrival to the warm comfortable room and tea/coffee making facilities.
This was a great stop-off location between Dumfries and Yorkshire, would recommend."

Nice modern cottage with added bonus of sauna. The location was good for sightseeing base
Took advantage of the spa which was very nice but pricey @£95 per person which was just for the use of the facilities
We also enjoyed the tasting menu which was very good!
Just would like to suggest that an information manual in the cottage’s to help with heating, cooking etc"
"Room was nice, bed was comfortable, breakfast had good selection. We brought our x2 dogs and as with a lot of other stays we’ve done felt a bit short changed with the £30 per dog fee.
Would recommend having a fridge in a dog friendly room as some dog food needs kept in a fridge. Otherwise had a nice stay and would likely stay again."
