"They provide washer machine but not the dryer. One of the bathrooms is inside the queen bed room has very heavy smells. Needs to have more ventilation. "
"The location of this property is excellent--close to the center of town yet somewhat further up the road, with a beautiful view of the town. Staff are kind and helpful and the restaurant is great. "
"This property is amazing. Just as pictured. It is a bit remote as it is off the main roadway a bit but that is part of what I loved. The views from the porch were gorgeous. I only had one need to contact the property manager about a question but was responded to very quickly.
Would absolutely stay here again."
"Absolutely lovely stay. Helpful and kind staff, amazing breakfast (and dinner which was separate), nice two room suite. Lovely grounds and walkable in the center of Broadford. "

Don't miss the Harbour. Fantastic bookstore. I lost my brolly in the town. A young woman in the coffee shop gave me one that was in their cupboard.

Portree is a quaint little picturesque town. Taxi and transportation is a bit lacking (even if they are there, they typically do not do the short stints), so if you don't have a car, expect a lot of walking. Private tour was amazing.

Portree is small and worth spending an hour to explore. We travelled in February, so it was very quiet.

"Booked a one night stay here and was pleasantly surprised at its location and quality of stay. Dinner here was excellent. Room was clean and very comfortable. View across the water was beautiful."
"We stayed at Tingle Creek due to its location to the Isle of Skye. We didn’t check our hotel reservations as closely as we should have, and had some tense moments when we realized that we would not arrive before the desk closed at 9:00pm. After several failed attempts to contact the hotel, we resigned ourselves to the fact we would likely have to try to find different accommodation (we had just hiked the Old Man of Storr, were drenched right thru and it was becoming obvious that there were not just hotels on every corner, and we had already paid, so we were panicking a little), but we drove to Tingle Creek anyway, and were met by an absolute sweetheart of a man, who knew who I was immediately, and assured me that even if we hadn’t arrived until 11:00, he would’ve left our key with instructions for us!
We checked into our cozy room, with an amazing sunset view of the water, but there was little time to enjoy, as we had not yet had supper, as the ‘Old Man’ had taken longer than expected.
We set out to find food and it was apparent right away that food options around Kyle are very limited after 8:00pm. We settled on gas station cuisine to get by until morning.
If you are a North American traveller, don’t wait to check in or eat supper when visiting these parts of Scotland if you want a warm bed and a hot meal.
We awoke to the stunning view from our hotel window, and a delicious breakfast. Would definitely stay here again! Be sure to read ALL the information before reserving.

"The staff were so friendly and helpful!! Other reviews have complained about the walk to the rooms, but rides are available via golf cart. Zara made the best drinks in the bar!"
"My single room with a gorgeous view of the bay was perfect for me. Check-in and out were very easy, it was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It was convenient to be in town and able to walk to everything. I would recommend to others and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. "
