I cannot say enough wonderful things about my 2nd visit to the Scotsman Hotel. This time my wife was booked for 3 nights with her elderly mother. The room was spacious, very quiet and the view onto Princes Street was breathtaking. If you are looking for a hotel away from the noise and bustle of the centre this is an excellent choice. The condition and decoration in the hotel is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The hotel is split into two buildings, so did require going outside to get from one to the other for the dining area. Overnight stay for the wife and I, hotel is well located for accessing the main train station and nearby shopping and eating establishments. We stayed in the lodge. Everything was very nice. Room was nice and tidy. Really appreciated the lovely sherry after a 4 hour drive. Bed was comfortable. The cooked to order breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Hotel location is very convenient to getting into town centre. You can catch a but right outside the hotel and buses run regularly until very late. Wold definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The Glasshouse was a superb hotel. Myself and a friend decided to treat ourselves to a nice hotel for a theatre trip. The room was massive, very comfortable and had everything i needed. It was a lovely touch to be offered prosecco on arrival. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly and my bed was turned down for me when I returned to my room after being out at the theatre.
