Adored the lady that checked us in, who assisted us at a later point throughout our stay. The hotel was lovely, clean and warm. The swimming pool was a little cold at first but not too much of a problem. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was phenomenal, with a continental bar to help yourself to. A well located modern hotel across the road from the main train station. We asked for a view and our room was overlooking the main street, which was really nice. Comfy bed, super clean and zero noise from outside due to secondary double glazing. The hotel use papercups in rooms for tea and coffee, which does not feel eco friendly as they are disposed after each use. Staff are very friendly and the bar area is modern and well used. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

As far as hostels go, this one was premier. The staff are fantastic, the bathrooms were kept immaculate and plenty of facilities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There are actually two buildings, and having stayed in both, I definitely preferred the building located above Belushi's bar. The bathrooms and toilets there are newer and better maintained, and the room layout felt much less cramped.
