Loved the wait staff and bartenders: front desk service could improve. Beautiful property and we loved the convenience and privacy of our swim up suite…and when we wanted to be social there were lots of activities! I really loved our spa experience: worth it!! We Loved sitting at the beach, but found it disappointing you could not order lunch from the beach. Restaurants were all mediocre and I’ve had much better. Loved the steakhouse meal, was hit and miss at Lobster house unfortunately. The liquor selection is better in the excellence club FYI. Great housekeeping service and very spacious room which was nice- outdoor seating options in swim out suite are lovely!

The property itself is beautiful. Lots of tropical plants, palm trees, lush and green. The room was perfect. Restaurants were good. Pools were immaculately clean and cool. The only minor complaint I had was they could do a better job of picking up garbage on the beach and around the property as a whole. Plastic bottles, wrappers, paper laying around. But the #1 best thing about Excellence is the staff - they ALL smile and are super friendly and helpful. Bring some extra cash to tip these amazing people who work long hours and go the extra mile to make your vacation smooth and fun. Highly recommend this hotel chain.

Highly recommend the hydrotherapy and massage experience. 5/5. Room was nice. 4.5/5. There was no bathroom privacy in our room. That's why i didn't give the room a 5. Staff was 5/5. Very helpful and polite. Very relaxed vibe by day. Party vibes at night. If you're looking for some peace and relaxation, this might be the place for you. Lastly, the all-inclusive food was just ok on average. 2/5. We had dinner on the beach (for an additional cost) and it was very good. 4.5/5. We'd highly recommend this place as long as food isn't the top priority on your list.

Property was well maintained and staff was friendly. Room had a few things not working but maintenance did remedy. Food was good.

The staff and customer service was great. The food on the other hand was not. I did contract food poisoning during my stay and was unable to get out of bed for over 24 hours. I came back from this trip 6 pounds lighter. At one point I thought I was going to have to go to an emergency room. It was very disappointing to me that my trip was ruined due to the fact that i could not even keep water down for some time. This happened on day 2 of 4 of my trip, which was my anniversary. The rest of my trip was filled with me taking small bites of food and drink so that I could make it through the day…ready to go home. Although me and my husband made the best of our trip I was very disappointed in the food. Not to mention, there was quite a bit of black mold throughout our room. I understand we were in a very humid climate, which is why I didn’t complain..just thought it was worth mentioning as it contributed to a lot of coughing and headaches throughout the night.
