A beautiful hotel. We had a large and well appointed bedroom on 6th floor with a balcony overlooking the stunning green landscape with a spring water bath and swing chair. Staff can’t do enough and you feel very well looked after. Nice touches such as free drinks and ice cream. Wonderful onsen and Japanese garden. Very extensive breakfast buffet. It is just a lovely retreat in a beautiful location. The hotel rooms are a lovely minimalist Japanese design, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. I wish we had more time to stay here longer, and it's one of the very few places I would absolutely return to without hesitation.

Room was fantastic, the in-room onsen was an amazing bonus. But the view wasn’t really ‘mountain’ - instead it was a giant bush and men doing work. While the hotel is supposed to be in a remote setting, it is a bit inconvenient to get to with a lack of amenities/dining options and no guidance from the hotel. The gym facilities were appalling for a five star hotel.

This hotel has a lovely onsen, and spectacular views of Mount Fuji from the roof terrace which has a heated foot bath It is convenient for the bus to see the surrounding area, nice and quiet, with a woods where herons nest next door. However it is fairly remote, in that you have to walk for about half an hour to reach shops or restaurants. Staff were kind and helpful. Wow! The hotel is amazing, huge rooms super comfy, very clean, hotel is in immaculate condition, breakfast was also very delicious, cheery on top room with the view to Fuji, would recommend and stay there again!

Beautifully modern ryokan, with stunning views. Family friendly, with a small play area, toys and games you can take to your room. Staff speak great English and are very helpful. Great location- 5 min walk to the train station where you can take a gondola up to the cable cars or take the mountain train back down, 10 min (steep) walk to Gora park, 15 min walk to Open Air Museum, and 25 min walk to Yunnesan hot spring water park.
