I had a great stay here; the staff were helpful, the room was clean, the breakfasts were ample. I have no complaints - just some advice for anyone who, like myself, wants to get to and from New York and prefers walking or public transportation over taxis. To reach the hotel, you need the 163 service from the Port Authority Terminal to Ridgewood (NOT the Paramus Arcola one); get off at Century Road (just after Alpine Drive), and either walk down Century Road or through the George Washington...

Very large room, with a microwave, fridge and coffee making. Shame there was no tea. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for the winter when I got there in early September, despite temperatures being in the high 20s C. The "boutique fee" on my bill was a surprise $15/day to cover the, coffee machine, microwave, etc. It's a ploy to get more money out of you without paying the tax.

We had a fantastic few days at the Westin. The staff were so helpful. It was central for everything, especially the subway. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever experienced. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

An excellent choice of good quality food for breakfast. Room and bed kept in a good state of cleanliness for the week we stayed.

Well positioned from the Subway for to/from JFK and rest of Manhattan. Helpful, friendly staff who make you feel both welcome and a bit special.

Stones throw from Times Sq so perfect for a four day theatre visit. Had a 44th floor Deluxe King room, facing south, with a partial view of Times Sq. Huge windows made it bright all day, but there are effective blackout blinds at night and there’s virtually no noise. Pretty spacious for one, spotlessly clean, and the fridge for supplies rather than annoying mini bar gets a thumbs up from me. Great stay with spacious, comfortable room and friendly staff. The outside pool area and small gym were an added bonus.

Fantastic location as the hotel is close to subway station so can easily get anywhere, but it’s in a more peaceful part of town. There are loads of excellent restaurants and coffee shops around. Our room (two double beds) was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.
