Beautiful property and the staff was great. The room was a little noisy in the Putnam building so we would try another next time as there are several accomodations to choose from.
The grounds and views were worth the quirky stairways and older accommodations. Bar and restaurant were great, although pricey. Fall leaves were awesome.
Staff at reception was great so was the gentleman who helped with luggage. Restaurant staff was excellent property is falling apart needs a lot of help.
Beautiful estate, very polite staff, plenty of parking. Would like to go back and visit Lyndhurst mansion right across from it

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Seems to be used mainly as a wedding venue. Very beautiful setting. The restaurant Goosefeathers is attached to the lobby and is very unique and artsy. Great cantonese food. Parking is hard to get and arranged in a few small lots down a hill so I wouldn't recommend for people that are mobility challenged.
Beautiful, beautiful!! Loved it so much!! Perfect location and everything was great. The only bad thing was the parking. It’s very limited. But.. It was beautiful and I would definitely stay there again and again!
The staff was very nice. Check in and out was very easy. But this is an old hotel. Our room was on the bottom floor which was a maze to get to. While the hotel is fine, I don’t think it is upgraded enough to be worth the price point, which for me was $225 for one night.
My Family and I really Love this place Excellent hands down very family oriented as well as for couples the restaurant on the property is always a great choice .
Awesome stay when you’re visiting NY or just want a nice staycation the staff and amenities always makes us feel like we’re staying at a resort. Can’t wait to stay here for fall activities in the area!
Room was very clean and the estate is very pretty. The breakfast had pretty much anything you could think of and was good quality. Parking was a little tricky but there were weddings both days we stayed
The property was gorgeous!
The bathrooms were not great. Hair on walls, etc.
Food at Goosefeather was amazing!
You need a spa and a gift shop.
I’ll visit again 🎃
This is one of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere is so laid back and you feel like you are away in a resort far away from home and you are 20 minutes away from the city.
Rooms could have been cleaner, lots of staining on the carpeting and a section of our wall had no wallpaper. Breakfast was OK, but staff seemed very disorganized. Front desk staff was very pleasant. parking was a nightmare, and we had to circle around the multiple lots fighting other cars for spaces after we came back from dinner, due to the restaurant on premises and there obviously being less spots to accommodate guests and dining patrons
